ABOUT US

Our Story

In 1998 God placed the burden of “the call” to ministry upon Pastor Felix Cruz, but it wasn’t until October 2002, that God’s Word was confirmed and released over him and his wife, Lydia. On December 8, 2002, Encounter Church (formerly House of Peniel Worship Center) was birthed and its doors were opened to the community.

OUR PASTORS

Pastors Felix and Lydia desire (more than anything) to seek after the heart of God and lead others to experience and become transformed by His Presence. Pastors Felix and Lydia Cruz are both graduates of the Assembly of God Biblical Institute.
